STAFF CLOTHING

Staff Clothing

Whether it's a SWAZI® "Off the shelf" solution, or we work with you to design and engineer a solution to fit your specific company needs, we have the experience and expertise to deliver. SWAZI® garments are an investment that will show you REAL payback. When staff outdoors are warm, dry and safe they are without doubt far more productive.

Some of our customers have experienced productivity gains of up to 40%. What will yours be? Add to that garments which are more durable and your investment looks all the more attractive.

Our garments have been tested and proven in some of the harshest environments on the planet. Through that knowledge, coupled with fabric choice and attention to detail in both design and manufacturing, SWAZI® garments are guaranteed to outperform any clothing your staff may have worn in the past.

We employ in-house sophisticated fabric and garment technology to ensure the clothing you will purchase is the world's most durable. This added assurance gives you more comfort, more productivity and ultimately more profit.

DESIGNED FOR YOU

Designed for you

Let us work alongside you to provide clothing that is fit for your company purpose, should there be no "Off the shelf" alternative.

From concept, to research, design and field testing, we are able to tailor-make a solution for your staff. If your industry has requirements that clothing must perform to meet certified standards, or meet specialized criteria, then we can help.

A couple of examples of projects we have assisted on are clothing staff who were working in the malaria-ridden tropics and a helicopter company whose pilots were conducting early morning frost control with the doors removed from their helicopters...if we don't have it - we can make it!

Our Design Team can visit your site to work with your team, going that extra mile to ensure the outcome to your apparel challenge is a conclusive and satisfying result.

BRANDED APPAREL

Branded Apparel

The quality of your brand is reflected in the quality of your staff - and the clothing they wear when they represent you. There's no doubt, staff who look great, feel great and they act great. Inspire your team by instilling immense pride in the brand they represent. Your brand.

Here's how we will help make your brand stand out from your competition. If that first impression really is important, then make it count by supplying staff with garments that fit well, function superbly, all made using only the finest quality fabric. We'll walk you through each step.

The benefits are very real. For your customers it speaks volumes about your brand integrity. So why not ensure you take centre stage to create an impression of lasting quality in all aspects of your business. We'll make dead sure your company logo is reproduced, whether embroidered, printed or sublimated, in perfect detail.

SAFETY & HIGH VIS

Safety & High Vis

You need staff to be seen, for safety's sake, for peace of mind. Yet at the same time you also need them to be able to focus on their task in hand, to get the job done and sometimes that means working in inclement weather.

We understand high visibility and what's more, we have few secrets when it comes to making gear that will boost your staff productivity while working in cold wet conditions. How so? Here so.

Our range of high visibility has been verified both Compliant and Certified. Made from rugged fabric and outstanding workmanship, it not only performs well, it outperforms the competition in durability and design.

Choose from our comprehensive range of world-class garments or speak to us about your own requirements. With all the current standards and regulations that abound, we can also help with deciphering the gobbledegook and walking you through what your responsibilities are given the nature of your work.

PROMOTIONAL IDEAS

Promotional Ideas

What better way of making your customers feel appreciated and personally valued than a piece of quality branded apparel. Skillfully crafted with your logo. Something they can wear with real pride - they'll become ardent ambassadors for your brand.

Or how about this for an incredibly innovative promotional idea, your company logo personalized on a SWAZI voucher. You choose the face value of the voucher, yet only pay the reduced trade rate. It's a unique way of promoting your business while at the same time allowing your customers to go to the goody bag and select items they'll really love.

We often get asked the same questions about our products and services, so the most common ones are right here:

1. How do I contact Swazi?

2. How do I order on your website?

Click on the product menu to view our product section pages, add items to a shopping cart and then proceed to the secure payment section of the site. No brainer.

3. Where can I get a Cattledog?

Email us at [email protected] and we'll get one in the post to your. But please note that all the product information (minus the stories) that is in the Cattledog is on our website.

4. How do I find a store near me?

We only sell our products through the very best retailers - we're very selective about who we have representing our gear! Find out where your nearest store is by clicking on the Swazi Stockists section.

5. What is the Swazi Warranty?

All Swazi garments are unconditionally warranted against faulty fabric and workmanship. We reserve the right to repair or replace at our discretion. We have a specific page for more details on our Warranty and repairs and returns policies here.

6. How do I send my gear back for repair?

Sadly, even astoundingly amazing Swazi garments occasionally require repairs. As a New Zealand based manufacturer we are one of only a few retailers who offer a repair service on our garments. You need to have a look at our Repairs page and follow the instructions there.

7. My gear has lost some of it's water repellency - what can I do?

The simplest way to restore DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is to tumble dry or iron your garment. DWR is the ability of water to bead up and roll off the outer fabric instead of being absorbed. It's an ultra thin treatment that changes the surface tension of the garment and can be easily restored by applying heat. Over time the DWR will require replacing due to flex, abrasion and dramatic temperature changes. Use a fluoropolymer based water repellent spray-on treatment available at outdoor shops. We recommend Grangers XT spray.

8. How do I know what size I need?

Every individual product page has a link to our size chart.

9. How do I clean my Aegis® jacket?

It is very important to wash your Aegis® outerwear regularly to maintain it's performance. Before laundering, always consult your garment's care label to be completely sure. Machine wash separately on warm (40°C) using pure soap, double rinse and spin. We recommend pure soap products as they are less likely to leave a residue that will affect the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish. Don't use bleach or fabric softener. Pre-wash stain removers can be used to treat stains on your garment. Treat stains as quickly as possible for best results. Ensure your garment is rinsed well after washing. Re-treat with DWR finish when required. Tumble Dry on a warm setting (55°C) until dry. Heat from the tumble dryer helps to enhance the Durable Water Repellency on the surface of the outer fabric - as it is heat activated. Tumble drying is recommended, however, ironing on the lowest steam setting will achieve a similar result. Dry cleaning is recommended for well used, dirty, sweaty and stained garments. Occasional dry cleaning won't harm the Aegis® membrane and thoroughly cleans your garment. Ask your dry cleaner to use clear solvent and to apply a fluoropolymer based water repellency treatment to the outer fabric.

10. What does waterproof mean?

Waterproof means exactly that - waterproof. A product is either waterproof or it isn't. You can't make a product that is 'more waterproof'. You can however make a product that is 'more water resistant'. Water resistance is not water-proofness. Water resistance means that the product will resist water up to a point, then will begin to compromise. Waterproof means that the product is waterproof - no water, no compromise. Swazi products are waterproof.

11. Why am I getting wet?

The first question is are you feeling wet or just cold? If you are just cold it usually means that the outer fabric is wetting-out and is absorbing water. Often just washing and drying the jacket will solve this problem. If you are still having wetting-out issues then an application of DWR (Durable Water Repellancy) is usually the solution. We recommend Grangers XT spray however you can ask your local dry cleaner to use clear solvent and to apply a fluoropolymer based water repellent to the outer fabric. If you are getting wet inside the jacket there can be two reasons why - the most common is that the pores in the Aegis® membrane are blocked preventing perspiration from escaping from the garment. The vapours collect and condense then soak into your layer under your jacket causing you to feel wet. Often a good wash and dry to clean the outer fabric and the membrane will solve this problem. Less commonly there may be minuscule holes in the membrane. Swazi AEGIS® fabrics are very waterproof and incredibly durable, however, like ALL fabrics they are not indestructible or bulletproof. They can be punctured by sharp objects like barbed wire or spiky vegetation and when the fabric is punctured it will leak. Mostly these tiny puncture holes are not visible to the human eye, but can be detected in our water testing lab. Our advice is be extremely careful of sharp objects - the general rule is if it can pierce the skin on the palm of your hand then it can also pierce the membrane in your garment. If you are getting wet inside your jacket and a thorough wash has not improved the issue then send it in to us for testing. Our Customer Services team will let you know lickety-split what the issue may be.
