Read corbets book at boarding school 50 years ago Great to read of your pilgrimage. The years he spent hunting some of these man eaters is almost unbelievable May be the greatest hunter ever?

Just loved this story of yours. Corbet must have been a very brave man. I too have a love of hunting but not sure about sitting up a tree waiting for a man-eater! It must have been amazing to see these animals for real and not on TV. Particularly interested in the jet boat named “kiwi”. Many years ago, in Tauranga, my father built a boat and put one of the first Hamilton jet units into it. I must show this to him, I’m sure he’ll love the read. (When the lockdown is over??)
