Kevin Hennessy

Kevin is a certified mountain rescue climber, certified search and rescue tracker, certified sailor, he holds 3 black belts (Taekwon-do, Ju-jitsu and Tai-jitsu) and has been a law enforcement officer, a firefighter and an EMT all in the state of Idaho.

Kevin's lived in the US for 8 years now. Originally born and raised in England where he studied survival with some of the top in the field (including the one and only Ray Mears!).

He's solo driven coast to coast in the US and visited 43 of the 50 states. He now lives at around 4000 feet in the rocky mountains with, get this... 7 children and his (clearly) amazing wife. The family all hike, hunt, kayak and canoe and run a small 6 acre farm where his wife Miranda uses goats milk from the farm to make her very popular goats milk soap.

He's recently started his own photography company which has taken off flying!

He's been a Swazi fan for going on 20 years now when the first item purchased was the original Tahr jacket. He reckons it's "still an amazing jacket to this day."

Josefine Bergs

Arctic Huntress

When people ask Josefine what she's most passionate about, she really doesn’t know what to answer. She finds it hard to say she loves one thing more then another, and that’s why living in the arctic regions of Norway fits her so damn well!. She has both the taiga/old-growth forest and the mountains and the fjords as her playground, and tries to see the charm in every season and enjoy the variations of activities it offers.

Spending the dark and cold winters fox hunting, trapping, tanning fur, enjoying the northern lights, and lighting a fire in the stove after a day out skiing. Magic!

She also loves springtime when the ice breaks in the fjord – fishing for cod and king crabs. Fishing in the mountains and rivers all summer under the midnight sun.
Frosty mornings in the autumn, hiking steep terrain all day after the rock ptarmigan, or even the great moose hunting.

So activities comes and go with the season in Norway, the only thing that stays is the company of her Karelian Bear Dog youngster Holly, and her better half Isak – who actually was the one who got her into hunting, and brought her to where she lives now.

Josefine and Isak are pretty much self-sufficient with meat and fish which they are extremely grateful.

We asked Josefine what her future dream hunt would be "Definitely have to say Tahr! I know it sounds like a cliché, but I love hunting in rough terrain for animals that requires a lot of skill from the hunter, so this is one of few on my hunting bucket list. I don’t have the urge to lay down as many different animals as possible, but I really want an experience to follow the once I decide to go for."

And so what is Josefine's favorite Swazi garment? "Nahanni! I basically wear this for pretty much everything, for as many months possible over here. If winter was warmer, I’d probably never take it off
